Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offered amazing Matterhorn views from the top floor rooms and the sofa was nicely made up for four people upon arrival. However, the noise from traveling groups leaving early in the morning was a downside.
I felt like I was in a giant snowglobe, enjoying the views of the Matterhorn around the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering plenty of storage space and a lovely terrasse where we could relax. The service was outstanding, especially when we arrived early with our baby. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the sunegga lift and not far from the main street of Zermatt. The dining options were good, with a nice variety of choices although a few more hot items would have been appreciated.
Staying at this hotel was simply magical with beautiful Zermatt views of the Matterhorn from the balcony. The rooms were comfy with large beds. The friendly and welcoming service added to the overall experience, although it would have been even better if available past 10 pm. The location was ideal for easy access to ski lifts and restaurants. The dining experience was good, offering a variety of food choices. The hotel facilities were also great, especially the organic products available.
I couldn't have asked for a better evening view with a pre-dinner drink than sitting on the balcony admiring the Matterhorn. The room upgrade to a higher category from a standard room was indeed delightful, offering a more spacious and pleasant stay. Although only two upper rooms provide Matterhorn views, the service staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our experience truly special. The location, while a bit far from town, was still convenient for exploring nearby attractions. The dining experience surpassed expectations with a delicious spread of fresh breads, fruit, cheeses, and more, all perfectly presented. Overall, a great value for money with some minor inconveniences.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautifully renovated in 2008 and had a stunning view of the Matterhorn, which was mesmerizing day and night. The service was top-notch, with friendly and efficient staff who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The location was perfect, close to ski rental shops and lift stations but still peaceful. The dining experience exceeded my expectations, offering a great selection of food with a view of the mountains. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a bit small for three people, and it was inconvenient not to have a larger tablet under the sink for toiletries. However, the room rates were reasonable for Zermatt standards. Unfortunately, I had to spend the first night without assistance at the front desk. On a positive note, the room featured a spacious terrace with a lovely table and chairs.
